Suzanne Schoenfeld, LCSW
I am originally from the East Coast (I'm told I have the accent to prove it!) and attended Boston University's School of Social Work. After graduation, I worked at a residential school for adolescent boys with behavioral issues. Since that time, I've worked in adoption, community mental health, and most recently, private practice.
My approach to counseling is very interactive, down-to-earth and collaborative. I believe you're the expert of your life. My job is to create the safe space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and goals. I encourage you to view yourself with self-compassion and kindness, while helping you learn to set boundaries and recognize triggers.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, audiobooks, hiking, and spending time with my husband and daughters. I love living in Oregon and feel very lucky to have such a beautiful place to call home.
