Anxiety is so frustrating!

You want it to go away, but it won’t. You try to push it away, to tough it out, but it always comes back. Of course, you don’t choose to have this problem—if only other people could understand that!

Anxiety can make every part of your life feel overwhelming and depressing. It rears it’s ugly head in many different ways—shortness of breath, panic attacks, phobias and irrational fears. You have probably tried, many times, to make these symptoms go away.

. . . that anxiety symptoms are quite treatable. There is no cookie-cutter way to begin, so my approach is quite individualized. Together, we examine your anxiety and how it affects your life. You’ll learn to notice when anxious thoughts appear and how to challenge them. We will work to shift them so that they are less powerful. There are ways to make them part of the background noise in your life, easy to ignore or to dismiss.
